History of Belgian center for comic strip art at Brussels

This is housed in an Art Nouveau building built by Victor Horta in 1906 for a large fabric shop. After the complete renovation of the building, it opened its doors in 1989: in its permanent exhibition, it presents the history of the Belgian comic strip since the beginning of the 20th century in a beautiful and very luminous interior. There are also temporary exhibitions on an author (Hergé, Franquin, Peyo, ...), on a style or on a particular publishing house. There is a very large library containing all Belgian comic books and complete documentation. Comic book classes are organized.
