History of Cathedral of our lady of vladimir at Saint-petersburg
It was built between 1761 and 1769, in a style, mix of baroque and neo-classical. The five very high bulb domes give it a characteristic appearance that contrasts with the simplicity of the façade; The use of the two yellow and white colors gives it a very aesthetic appearance. The interior consists of two floors corresponding to two churches; We can admire a beautiful iconostasis. The neo-classical belfry separated from the church, was built on the plans of Giacomo Quarenghi in 1791. The exterior buildings are additions of the XIXth century. Dostoyevsky attended this church.
